Description

Engineering has a video Dear David, This Saturday is our Gator Engineering Reunion event. It’s gonna be held under a giant tent at the north lawn of the Reitz. Dean Abernathy is looking to incorporate into her address of alums the informal groundbreaking that Herbie and Cammy performed, in addition to the new building video that we put together before Matthe blows everything away. As such, we’re hoping you could string together a short video that is a collage of shots from the informal “dirt and shovel” event. Any chance? By Thursday morning? Helen Goh ==== Good Morning! Helen is out this morning but she said she would be very grateful if you could work on this. Based on the feedback we have received from Meg, she wants only the photos in the video file below at the beginning and then the video that is also in the file at the end. She would like the video music to play throughout the entire thing which is not done in the current file. Let me know if this is a possibility. We really appreciate all of your help.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quick Base often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quick Base finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quick Base needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
