[JUN-21-18 Jason Phenicie] Good morning Alexa,

I just wanted to circle back around on this. Please let me know if there's any additional work. I'll close this out after COB on Monday, June 25, 2018.

Thank you and have a good day,
Jason

[AUG-31-17 Jason Phenicie] Completed form and sent to Alexa for review: http://ufcoralgables.com/reservations/

[JUN-20-17 Jason Phenicie] From Alexa:
Hi Jason,

Thanks so much for checking in, and I have some further edits to the events section that I will send your way shortly (we have recently changed the fees).

I downloaded the reservation form, and I think it looks great, thank you for putting together.  Only thoughts are:
•    Remove Contact Fax (we are only dealing with UF groups so far/not necessary for my purposes)
•    Can Catering be a Text box for completion?
o    We might change to dropdown in the future but so far we only have one recommended option after one dropped off our list
•    With the serving alcohol question, are you able to add a related follow up question? Or simply the next question could be, “Will UF students be in attendance”?
o    That is an important detail for our UF alcohol approval forms, so better if the sponsor addresses it early

I think that looks great, and thank you again for your help!

Made the requested changes to the form criteria and notified Alexa of the anticipated second week of August completion date.

[JUN-20-17 Jason Phenicie] Sent follow-up email to Alexa about form fields/criteria.

Updating due date to reflect earliest possible completion date.

[MAY-24-17 Jason Phenicie] Sent a list of form fields to Alexa for review.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
