Project Description
I am working with Will Elliott on an event in Miami in September and the alumni that we are working on would like for us to come up with an invite to be circulated by email. Could you draft an invite for us to be sent via email? The event will be at an alum’s home and they will be inviting their friends who all have children in high school and want to learn more about admissions. We will have some admissions officers there to discuss UF and the application process, if that helps you to come up with a title. Below are the details: The address is: 6939 Sunrise Dr. Coral Gables, FL 33133 The hosts are: Jose Cornide Eric Elliott Dana Grodin Raul Mateu Adam Mopsick Jeff Bast Time: 7:00pm It will be an email invitation others send out personally. You will not need to send it out from your email system. They would like to get the invite out in the next couple of weeks as a save the date and maybe we can send another email invitation out in August as we get closer to the event. Not sure on title, is this something you could come up with? Something related to admissions, etc. Just need the co-hosts names, event details, and make it look nice and gator-y.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!
