Fund - Update fund page contentCompleteJason PhenicieHi Jason,

The UF/IFAS Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC) has a general fund, F000557. One small part of the work conducted at TREC is the Oyster Reef Restoration Program. This program does not have its own fund since it is so small, and gifts to this program go into the general fund but are tagged with appeal code GSSOTA2 to keep track of them on the fiscal side. Would it be possible for this vanity link www.uff.ufl.edu/give/oyster, with appeal code embedded, to direct to a version of the F000557 giving page that has the fancy oyster description, but for this link https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/000557-tropical-research-and-education-center-at-homestead/ to NOT have the oyster info? That way, if someone wants to donate to TREC, but not the oyster program, they won't get confused. Likewise, the non-oyster version should be the one that shows up when searching the giving opportunities site. This may involve creating two separate pages? Please let me know if you have questions. In the future, we will be more clear about whether we intend an existing page to be modified, or a separate version to be created.

Thank you,
Kelly

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
