Project Description
Produce a note card for a stewardship project with MFOS. Since the Sept. 17th celebration has been officially rescheduled for 2022, Leslie Pendleton would like to move forward with mailing all of the MFOS 15th anniversary gifts that we planned to hand out at the event. She would like to include hand-written notes for all of the framed prints going to VIPs, but there are Fractures going to 50 additional donors that Leslie would like to send a note to as well. We would like to develop a pre-printed note for those donors. Perhaps there’s already an MFOS-branded or other UF note card on hand that we can add the message to? Open to Luke and Dave’s thoughts, and if they have other recommendations. Also, President Fuchs and a few PG’s like Anita Zucker are included amongst the VIP notes that Leslie is planning to hand-write. Sharing a draft of that note copy below in case Luke would like to review/provide edits. Anita, In honor of the 15th anniversary of the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program, please accept this framed Florida Gator magazine cover as a token of our gratitude for your transformational impact. When thinking about the 15 most influential individuals who’ve supported MFOS from the very beginning, and who continue to champion the future of the program today, you certainly top the list. Thank you for all you do for the scholars and for the Gator Nation. With deep appreciation and respect, Leslie Pendleton

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
