Project Description
Dr. Klee wants to give tomato donors the opportunity to participate in a citizen science type project when they contribute, however they need to check yes on a material transfer agreement to protect the test seed ability to later be commercialized. Is this something we could potentially facilitate through a special campaign page?

Circling back on this - would like to get this deployed as soon as possible. I let Giving Day push this down in spring and then haven't followed back up. Attached is the language we need folks to agree to in order to receive seeds from new cultivars as a thank you. Anyone who doesn't accept this will still receive seed but will be from older varieties. This can be a drop down with text that they click a box to accept/agree.

If a custom report can be pushed out/accessed as referenced below that indicates the gift details and that they checked the box that would be perfect - the lab is on board to be promoting a higher gift amount as well. YAY

If you can let me know any time frame for getting it activated, I can let lab know what to expect. Thanks!

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
