Project Description
we need to design the medal for the Wertheim Humanitarian Award. It will be 3.5” in diameter, 1" thickness, bright gold finish with large satin ribbon. Tom has discussed the design with Herbie and he shared an example of the one FIU created for him (see below). He would like to see us create something similar with an image of him or preferably (for Tom) his hat on one side and room for an inscription on the second side. Attached is the language to describe the award – please use key words to be included on the medal. Please note, this is the inaugural prize and next year (and every year thereafter) it will be awarded to a national or international advocate and innovator in higher education. With that in mind, this award will be elevated to a higher platform and will not be part of AGG or UF so the UF references may be minimized in the future. For this year though, we can include the UF logo or other icons. Production is about 5-6 weeks so we need the design. It will be awarded on March 4 so we need approved art by Jan. 20. Megan Christopherson has the vendor information.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
