Project Description
This is a new project that was submitted by Alexa Butler in Alumni Relations. They would like to submit a graphics request for (1) header and (1) social media graphic for UFAA Welcome to the Gatorhood events. • Background | Welcome to the Gatorhood events are optional events hosted by Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups around the country to welcome and engage new alumni including recent graduates and alumni who have moved to the regional area. o Event Dates vary from June to August or so, so no need to include the date in the graphic o UFAA Website, Welcome to the Gatorhood: https://connect.ufalumni.ufl.edu/network/gatorclubs/gatorhood#:~:text=Welcome%20to%20the%20Gatorhood%20is,to%20grow%20your%20Gator%20Network • Use/Purpose: o E-mail header will be used for e-mail invitations sent by the clubs/groups and featured on the UFAA website o Social media graphic will be used by clubs/groups to promote their respective events  If not too much trouble, that would like to provide the graphic in sizing options for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter (same graphic, just different pixels) • Graphics Ideas | Whatever you recommend – potentially follow the same recent branding of International Gator Day and Alumni Volunteer Leadership Conference (IGD & AVLC headers shown below for reference) to match existing branding for this similar alumni audience o Previously social media graphics were not provided and clubs generated their own, so I don’t have specific UFAA social media examples to provide • Request Timeline: We would like to share as soon as possible since clubs/groups begin hosting in June. We hope this is a fairly simple request for the (2) graphics – no t-shirts or need for any other graphics this year.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
