Project Description
, I wanted to reach out to see if there was any bandwidth on your team to help us with design for the next iteration of the MFOS vision—or maybe we could get in your queue for projects as bandwidth opens up. Leslie has partnered with Jacky to articulate the MFOS philanthropic vision for the next several years and would like to create a flexible, beautiful document to engage donors. We are working on finalizing the draft in the next week or so. I see this piece being used for multiple years and with many, many stakeholders. She has also requested the ability to possibly sub-out quotes and pictures, so we would like to discuss a few ideas I have on that front with someone on your team. Additional details: • Easily swap out pictures, quotes and data as needed. • A print version that can act as folder with a flap on the inside cover • A stand-alone, designed By the Numbers section as a printed insert • A digital version with the By the Numbers section included in the piece • Updated images (whichever images we do not have on our end, Leslie will reach out to Student Life to fill in the gaps): o MFOS scholars engaging in activities/events  New scholar event at the University House  Mentorship/community building events o MFOS alumni o Leslie engaging with MFOS scholars o MFOS family photos o Graduation o MFOS Donors o MFOS scholars in new headquarters located in the Reitz Union

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
