Jacky: I’ll send you the one-pager templates early next week, and I’ll share the larger proposal in the next week or so once we finalize the language. Fri 6/16/2023 1:15 PM

-- [JUN-26-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Jaclyn uploaded template's via BOX. Rob confirmed professorship and scholarship one pagers. Mon 6/26/2023 9:44 AM

-- [JUL-05-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Jacky/Matt: finalize the language for the full student experience template. Dropped into BOX.

-- [JUL-13-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Jennifer R: Waiting for the template/materials to be finalized (I’m not sure if they are. I haven’t really been updated regarding this project), so that I can then make the tutorial using the final versions.

-- [JUL-17-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Matt sent over updated power point. New version is attached (BOX) and includes some guiding comments and proposed images and other visual items.

-- [AUG-01-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Jaclyn emailed rob with additional edits/design. Per Rob: next steps they look good. I could probably have something back to you late next week.

-- [AUG-08-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Rob: longer Student Experience and Professorship templates

-- [AUG-09-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Rob notice some issues with font. He will look into a solution and get back with Matt.

-- [AUG-28-23 Yasmin Williams] --------------
Jacky provided Rob with additional edits and requested Rob send a box link to upload her power points. Jacky and Rob will meet to discuss the project further. Monday, Aug. 28: 10:30-112 am

Matt: I think option 1 is appropriate and works without a signatory. Can we swap out the script font for Resolution at the top and use one that’s a little less ornate? It’s a bit hard to read, especially the R. Once we have that, we can determine printing and best delivery method.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
