Project Description
Examples and text located in construction folder. From Linda: Attached is the first-draft copy for the card. It has not been through final reviews! My direction as of now is that the Anita Zucker Center is a standalone center, not technically "under" the College of Education, but rather housed there for now.... Some of its researchers are in COE, but others have appointments in Health Science Colleges. Once you have a layout - this will be reviewed and subject to leadership decision of course.... I'm suggesting a UF campus photo - would love to try the new UF archway, Heavener Hall may be blurred a bit? We will need to identify a photographer to get the cover photo. I may be able to snap a high-rez shot of that archway and email for you to try in your layout, if that helps? Thanks - give me a shout if you have any questions! Original description: What: Large-format postcard announcing the Anita Zucker Professor being named. Official announcement will happen at BOT mtg June 4-5. Mailing should go out right before BOT meeting, then will want to hand out postcards at the BOT meeting, too. Audience: This would be mailed to peer universities and to some units on campus (deans and directors, PHHP, Medicine, part of promoting the work of the center.) Quantity: Linda is pulling mailing list. Not sure yet. Deadline: Communications meeting on April 17 with the center directors. Draft ideas only needed then. Final needed before BOT meeting – June 4-5. Content: 1 side: highlighting Maureen as recipient of professorship Other side: info about the center and addressing area. Linda is writing this. Liesl will edit. Art: Photo of Maureen and Anita together? Or, Maureen on one side and Anita on the other side.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
