Project Description
Photo display honoring UF donors and star, UF impact, campaign priorities in football stadium President's Suite Create some options that include highlighting major priorities or faculty and students, etc (not just donor comps). Suggest possibly offering a digital concept, utilizing a large screen like the two recently added to the EAH lobby. This would give us maximum flexibility for features.

[JUL-07-16 Jim Baer] Feedback from TM:
Tom and I discussed the latest draft and he wants us to come up with the following before this gets presented to Kent. In general, he would like pictures that represent what 160/90 calls “the result of the result.”

- Picture of the recent sea turtle releases at the Whitney lab. I saw these somewhere recently, but they were probably from the Whitney Lab folks.
- Picture of an infant being treated by a physical therapist or in some other medical situation.
- Doug Soltis in front of the Tree of Life graphic/light board (I think we got that picture to use at the March board meeting)
- Global picture; perhaps of a UF student or faculty member doing something with a structure or anything that is easily recognizable as being overseas.
- Need something for Leadership. Perhaps an action shot of a recognizable alumnus who is speaking to a group of some kind. This could be at a stock holders meeting or in front of a class.
- Innovation is also needed. Maybe the termite guy in IFAS w/his equipment or something else that represents UF innovation.

[JUL-05-16 Jim Baer] Updated the photo selection as per conversation with C Boydston and collaboration with D Finnerty. Sent mockup to Carter to discuss w/ TM.

[JUN-20-16 Jim Baer] I put together a first draft of the Campaign Priorities and UF Impact versions and sent to D. Finnerty to share with S. Woodward and C. Boydstun.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
