Project Description
Create booster/athletic centric version of the existing Word templates created by Rob: "In regards to the files you sent, I like that we would be able to edit them and "customize them" on an individual basis. I'd like to see some blue Gator skin stretched along the sides instead of the blue tech-looking rectangles. I'd also like to put Scott Stricklin's photo in as well, to make it a little more Athletics-specific. Also, I was hoping to condense these and make them more along the lines of 1-4 pages long. I guess we could do that by deleting the other pages that we deem as being unnecessary, but just thought I'd throw that in there. We'd like to have photos of our athletics facilities mixed into the design as well-- see attached photos for a few good ones. Also, we'll need the Gator head logo and Gator Boosters logo thrown into the design too (also attached). Other than that, it looks like we should be able to make it our own. If you could put the photo of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium behind the orange and blue foregrounds on the top/first photo of each document, I think that'd look great! Let me know if that doesn't make any sense at all. " Provided images in construction

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
