no Completed   Update Harn Gift Planning Guide Phyllis DeLaney has transitioned out of her DO role at the Harn. The new DO, Kelly Harvey, would like to use the Harn gift planning guide that we offer on the toolkit (see attached), but it still has Phyllis' contact info. https://ufodaa.box.com/s/ftedf5huar9st6fahdtbvmd5slvncclu
no Completed 05-20-2015 Gift Planning Supplements Renaissance will design these projects (three items to be exact that are part of a larger project.) Design sticking as closely as possible to the branding guidelines established for UF by 160over90. Full documentation and example here (including fonts): https://ufodaa.box.com/s/e3hrcmbxi4qws2ozjiwpysw8i7mbdpci The nature of these pieces are very generic, so please use any general UF photography, which can be found here: http://portfolio.uff.ufl.edu:8085/do_toolkit_images/#/ Or, other tasteful stock photography. Each of these three pieces should fit in a standard sized envelope as a single page 8.5x11, front and back (if necessary) folded. Full color. 50 each printed and folded and an email ready PDF of each are the deliverables. The titles and associated copy for each are: "The Top 6 Questions To Ask Your Estate Planning Attorney” https://ufodaa.box.com/s/vqghkwby3c4ucf13qywa23bkibx9seua "Direct Your Assets to the People and Causes You Care About Most” https://ufodaa.box.com/s/6nz22h93cpjni2i0mfpxral0eqlsz4sj "The 3 Easiest Ways to Leave Your Legacy” https://ufodaa.box.com/s/khq59yf6jbjwgsbh401opjiwzs1xcn7t This is an example of the kind of document, not from a branding perspective, in terms of tone: https://ufodaa.box.com/s/n23ptxfjqxnwzf4ja6g9azg8plgxak28 https://ufodaa.box.com/s/6jaxxb1n4qvfvqpj92i51neq1j0wluai         3 Renaissance Printing
no Completed 06-12-2015 UFAN Certificates Paul Caspersen needs a certificate to present to each new member of the UF Advisor’s Network. He wants it to feel really high-end. If I draft some text for this, who do you think could work on the design part? They have 5 members so far, and won’t stop until they’ve reached 100. He doesn’t need to review a draft this week, but also doesn’t want to wait too long for the 5 members to get their certificates. https://ufodaa.box.com/s/wh4wq8kqgh6pi405sjgw11weemhf7zy3

no Completed 03-18-2016 AG & PG Postcard Mike is teaming up with Heather in Annual Fund to have her students call about 2,000 people who have been screened by our researchers and identified as people who might be interested in giving a gift in their wills or estate plans. Before the students make this cold calls, he’d like to send a postcard to these folks to give them a heads up. He has learned from other university colleagues that the calls are more successful when people receive a postcard first. I’m attaching a sample that the University of Texas-Austin did. Here are the specs for Mike’s postcard: Deadline: mailed the first week of April Quantity: 1900 on mailing list, need another 250 for use in-house. Whoever prints it should handle the mailing, too. Postage: Presorted First Class Photos: I have some images to choose from, but they’re only a suggestion. They’re in your transfer drive folder. I think a people shot might work better, though. Text: Side 1: We are an unstoppable force for the Gator good Side 2 (left side): We are a people of purpose. We see things not as they are, but as they could be. And we strive for greater impact: one measured in people helped and lives improved. As a fellow Gator, you have celebrated this tradition. After all, that’s what Gators do. My team plans to ensure this rich culture is upheld, and you can help by simply sharing your thoughts. Soon, a UF student will be calling you to conduct a survey about estate planning and charitable giving. We are not asking for a donation. By taking a moment to speak with us, you will be offered a complimentary follow-up booklet that outlines several ways you can fulfill your personal and philanthropic objectives through UF. Thank you, in advance, for your time, participation and support of the University of Florida. We value your feedback and look forward to speaking with you soon. When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
