no Completed 12-06-2021 Bob Lloyd_Bethune statue We need a photo of alum Bob Lloyd in front of the brand new, giant statue of Dr. Mary McCloud Bethune that is on display in Daytona (News-Journal Center) until Dec. 12. Lloyd is vice president of the project fund that helped fund the statue, which is going to be the first statue of an African American featured in the national statuary hall in DC. The statue goes to DC in early 2022 and is replacing a statue of a Confederate general. Here is a link to the project website, which shows the statue of Bethune (it was carved of marble taken from a quarry in the Alps where Michelangelo got his marble): https://mmbstatue.org/ When the statue was unveiled in Daytona in October, lots of local and national news outlets covered it, including CNN: https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/13/us/mary-mcleod-bethune-statue-trnd/index.html The photo of Lloyd by the statue will go in the alumni magazine. I’m also doing a website profile of Lloyd (about his life), and we’ll use it in there, too. https://ufodaa.app.box.com/folder/151346647832 4 Photo Requests   Communications, UF Advancement

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
