Great! Straight donations go to the same fund at tickets/sponsorships - 005713 Museum Associates Fundraising

Thanks!

OK, sorry!  Now I'm on the correct one.  It looks like there is a separate gift request.  What is the fund number for that?

It's working both in IE and Safari when we preview the event.

I'm on a mac and don't have IE. Hang on a sec and I'll ask the membership asst to try it.

Does the form work correctly for you in IE?

I didn't realize we had permissions to delete events - sorry! The old event is deleted and the current one 3PN7G7RWNJT should be ready for testing.

Hi Kara,
Yes, I am looking at the Passport to the Galapagos Gala.  It seems to work fine in Chrome, but I am still seeing issues with IE. What browser are you using?  Try it in IE and let me know how it works for you.
Can you please delete the Cvent form that you are not using?

Thanks,
Martha

Are you looking at Passport to the Galapagos or Passport to the Galapagos Gala? I had to create a second Passport to the Galapagos event because the Standard 2.0 registration doesn't have some capabilities we need and support said there was no way to change from a 2.0 to a regular event.

When I preview, I'm able to select Table Sponsor, Host Sponsor, or Individual ticket from the drop-down. Table Sponsor allows me to choose Presenting, Gala or Supporting. Host allows me to choose Host and then I can add a guest. Individual allows me to choose Individual ticket and I can add a guest. Everyone can opt to add a donation. Let me know if you're not seeing the same thing.

Kara,
There seems to be a few issues with your Cvent form.  Host Sponsor option is not listed on the first page.  On the 2nd page, the only sponsorship you can select is Host Sponsor.  When I go to the page after that, Host Sponsor and Individual ticket show as options chosen.

Hi Martha,

Yes, I ended up having to build a new event because Standard 2.0 doesn’t allow optional items (so people can donate) and mobile registration isn’t yet available. I just updated the registration confirmation email so it should be ready to go.

Themed gala with dinner and dancing. Event runs from 7-11pm.
We expect about 300 guests. We typically bring in about $80K ($50K after expenses) though that number may be lower this year as many people made multi-year pledges in support of our centennial gala/events in 2017.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
