Ok, great. I changed the contact information in there. Thank you!

Jennifer,
thank you! I tested the wrong one.  I deleted the WJBX event now, too.  I'm working on testing now.  The email address for the event planner and confirmation emails are incorrect.  My email address is listed.  Please correct that.

thanks,
Martha

Hey Martha, I'm not sure what you mean. I did test it. I chose which option I wanted (for example, 2 festival fee) then  clicked "place order". Then the screen comes up for entering in your personal information and credit card number, then the "register" button comes up when you're done entering it in. Did you get that far? Just to clarify, this is for the event with code  M9NTC3ZCDYF, not the page with code 32NYGKSWJBX. Thanks!

Jennifer,
I deleted the other Cvent form per your request.
I just tested the event, and there is no option to choose a registration type.  Did you successfully test this form yourself?  Please advise.

Thanks,
Martha

Fourth Suvarna D. Shah Gujarati Poetry Festival

02-23-2018
The Suvarna D. Shah Gujarati poetry festival brings together members of the community, faculty, and students of Gujarati origin for a weekend of immersion in Gujarati poetry and literature.  The poetry festival was started by Dr. Dinesh O. Shah, professor emeritus, University of Florida. UF hosted the first poetry festival in 2012, because of its popularity, Dr. Shah made an endowment in the name of his wife, Suvarna D. Shah, to continue this event as a biennial event.  The poetry festival is now attended by specifically celebrated Gujarati poets from India and the USA, local poets from Florida, as well as UF faculty and students for a weekend of enrichment and community outreach.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!
