Hi Martha,
I'm sorry to keep bothering you, but I've been trying to upload my email list and CVent kicks back all but nine of about 70 entries (not to mention adding contacts who aren't on my list). I've tried it three different times, three different ways but I can't get it to go through.

The first error was I got back was Invalid Contact Type so I made some changes and then I got the No Match for Source ID/Email error. I'm hoping you can help me square this away on Friday because I'd realllly like to get this thing off the ground :)

Thank you!

Hi Martha,
I can't find the exact spot where this email is supposed to go. Can you advise, please?

Hi Royce,

Please add gift processing to receive all email confirmations with payment.  This will be needed for all event registration forms.

The email address is event-gp@uff.ufl.edu

Everything else looks good on the logistics of your form.  I'm sending it to Communications for final review on the look.

Martha

The MSE Career Fair at the University of Florida is an annual event hosted by the Department of Materials Science & Engineering for students and top-industry companies to interact in a professional setting.

Students have the opportunity to develop their networking skills, polish their resumes and gain internships and full-time positions with some of the best companies in the world.

Companies and recruiters get a direct connection with Florida's best and brightest, and have the opportunity to meet and engage with their leaders of tomorrow.
Company representatives arrive at 5 pm for set up. Dinner is at 6 pm followed by the actual job fair portion of the event.

We hope to increase our vendor participation from last year (eight companies) in order to help connect our students with as many opportunities as possible.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!

Now we need to make you official before you share apps or manage your account.

Verifying your email lets you share Quickbase with others in your company.
