Hi Tori,
I'm sorry, but I don't see that review date you are referencing  listed on my view.  Your project has been reviewed and assigned to me.  You should have received an email on 7/6 about this, with a link to click for when you are ready to launch your event registration.  If you do not have that email let me know and I will send you another one with the link.

Thanks,
Martha

Hi there!

I noticed that this event review date was moved from yesterday, 7/13, utnil next Monday, 7/20. Is there a reason for this? Is there anyway this can be reviewed sooner?

Thank you!
Tori

Fall 2020 ISE Career Fair

The ISE Career Fair at the University of Florida is an annual event held by the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering for students and top-industry companies to interact in a professional setting.

Students have the opportunity to develop their networking skills, polish their resumes and gain internships and full-time positions with some of the best companies in the world. Companies get a direct connection with Florida's best and brightest and have the opportunity to choose firsthand their leaders of tomorrow.

*Due to COVID-19, we are postponing our traditional in-person event until Spring 2021. We would still like to provide options for companies to connect with UF ISE students during the fall semester. This is why we are offering a vast student resume database for them to connect with students on their own terms and in their own way, eliminating the technical and financial restraints of hosting a virtual career fair for the department.
Companies will register and pay for the resume database through Cvent. On September 28, 2020 companies will receive instructions on how to access the database and will be encouraged to reach out to students to hold interviews.
10-20 companies
We hope to engage with more companies and hope that our students have successful interviews, and to have at least 15-20 companies attend.
Yes
For companies wanting to purchase the resume database, the registration fee is $150.
Quid Pro Quo

For companies paying $150, the quid pro quo amount would be $50.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!
