Thanks for the help, Martha. UF/HWCoE logo added to footer, misspelled word corrected, and I see how you added the invoice to the registration confirmation. Thanks for doing that.

Hey Harry,
We need a UF logo on your Cvent page.  Also, platform is misspelled.  Please let me know when you have made these corrections.
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Harry,
You go to Event Emails, registration confirmation email --> Design Email.  Then click on the text area.  On the right hand side, you can edit the text area. Choose Data Tag icon, then choose Order Details.  In that same area(Insert Data Tags) choose Invoice Link.
I added these for you to save time.  Now you know for next time, so please save.
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha, Apologies for not answering yesterday, i was not working... Yes, I'd like to have the registration details in the confirmation email, but I haven't had luck finding that option. Could you remind me where that setting is? Same with the invoice. I know i had it for the last event, but I am not finding the option...

We will be sending a weblink to the site from another sending service, so not using Cvent to sent invites.

Hi Harry,
I'm looking over and testing this now.  Should be complete today unless we have any major issues.
I noticed that you do not have any details in the Confirmation email.  I think it is good practice to include the choices made during registration.  The registrant may need an invoice, so it's good to include that, as well.
Are you sending the invitation email through Cvent?

Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha,
We've begun communicating with recruiters and we are wondering what the potential timeline might be with testing/approving the event. Might it be running before thanksgiving, or after?
Thanks

OH MY!!  I am so sorry!  I totally misunderstood you.  Yes, you are free to start creating your Cvent page as soon as you received the initial email that your project is assigned to me and approved.  When you are finished, click the ready to launch link.

-- [NOV-03-20 Anonymous] --------------
just got the same email again, thanks.  I see check status, ready to launch (which as i understand it is your prompt to test. I'm not ready to launch), or view records. That's it. But i am missing the part that says "click here to start working on your project."Does ready to launch mean start creating on my end?

-- [NOV-03-20 Anonymous] --------------
Yes, i received a couple of emails on that date, but none of them provided a link to begin working on the project. Just links to communications about the project, and status. I'm sure I'm missing something.

-- [NOV-03-20 Martha Jakab] --------------
you should have received this email on 10/28, from Communications.  If you cannot find it let me know and I will resend link to you.

-- [NOV-03-20 Anonymous] --------------
I don't see the event listed on the app.cvent.com listing of events, though. How do I access?

-- [NOV-03-20 Martha Jakab] --------------
Harry, when you are complete on your end and ready for me to test and launch, please change status to "ready to launch".  You should have received an email when this project was assigned with instructions and a "ready to launch" link.

thanks,
Martha

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!

Now we need to make you official before you share apps or manage your account.

Verifying your email lets you share Quickbase with others in your company.
