Hi John,
thank you!  We are making progress.  On the summary page, the font in the first paragraph is not the same color. It goes from black to dark blue.  Please increase the font size for the College of Medicine Dept of Psychiatry.  After that, I can send it to Communications for final approval.

Thanks,
Martha

Good morning Martha - thank you for your patience, I should have known about the logo from years past but just wasn't thinking. I have added that, as well as our college and department, indication that it is a virtual event, a link to the faebook page where the event will be held, and have removed the agenda page. If there is anything else please let me know, otherwise please launch the page. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi John,
Since event registration forms are sometimes a constituent's first impression of the university, we generally follow some standard guidelines, even for the simple ones. A UF logo (or departmental logo featuring the UF logo) is required for all registration pages. Additionally, there should be an indication of the department hosting the event and either a location or indication that this is a virtual event and the platform on which it will be held. The Agenda page is incomplete.  If you do not have an agenda, you can just eliminate that page.
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha - no I am not sure :) Let me look at it first thing tomorrow and I will get back with you.  I was not expecting for us to do this using cvent this year so it was thrown together last minute, we really only need the most basic of registration forms for folks to register to participate and pay. Was there something specific you saw that needs to be done?

HI John,
This registration form looks incomplete. Are you sure you meant to change status to 'Ready to Launch'?

thanks,
Martha

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
