OK. I have just created a new project.

Allison, if you are unable to change the Project name from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022, then I you should just create a whole new project from scratch.  Otherwise, this won't be approved and will not be able to move forward.

Hmm, but I had to create the master project before I could create the Cvent request. This is the link that came in the email: https://ufodaa.quickbase.com/db/bjt2unatp?a=edr&rid=6126

ok, there is no master project with that name.  So you will need to go in and create one.  I do not know all the dates and details to do that myself.  Then, you can attach this Cvent project to it.

Thanks,
Martha

There was a fall 2021 event, but this is a different one and I pasted in the wrong name.

Allison, Was there a Fall 2021 event?  Is this a different one and you chose the wrong name?  Or are you trying to change the name of the old one?

-- [NOV-16-21 Martha Jakab] --------------
ok, thanks for letting me know. I will try and change it now.

Hi! I meant to call the main part of this project "Spring 2022 CISE Career Fair - Virtual Event" instead of Fall 2021 CISE Career Fair Virtual Event. Is there any way to fix that? I can't seem to make the change on my end.
The original request details are provided for reference only. If you need to make changes, please contact your Digital Team Partner.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
