Ah, ok. Then yes. That is correct. This is what we've done for this event a handful of times already. The event is virtual and will be using the CareerEco platform, but they make payments for the event via Cvent. 

The "Make a Payment" button is set up to collect information and allow the participants to pay. This is the same as our fall event.

The Make a Payment button, is linked to Cvent registration. But, the Register button is linked to CareerEco.com.

This is for a virtual event, and we are using Cvent to collect the funds. It should be linked to our foundation account.

Cvent changed a lot of things about their website. I'm not sure I linked it properly, but I can't find where to do that (which was easy to find in the previous site design). Can you tell me where that is, and I can update the information?

Hi Allison,
I just tried to test this registration and it is linked to another application.  Why are you not using Cvent to collect the funds?  Has gift processing approved of this?  I am not aware that this is permitted.

This is the biannual CISE Career Fair held for companies to come to recruit students for jobs and internships.
Companies logon to the system shortly before the event starts at 10 a.m. Students will log on and talk with company recruiters about potential jobs and internships until the event ends at 6 p.m.

We hope to register even more students and companies this year. Ideally, an increase by at least 5 companies would be great.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
