Hi Martha,

Any chance we could have this finalized by today/early tomorrow?

We are hoping to test the link tomorrow before Brendan (CVENT administrator) goes out on extended vacation.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Martha,

Brendan went into Cvent and made the suggested changes you mentioned: added valid Address / contact information and Unsubscribe in the email footers.

Thank you,

Chris

Hi Chris,
One last thing, the FCC requires a valid Address / contact information and Unsubscribe in the email footers.  Your event emails are missing this.  Please add to your emails and then everything should be ready to launch.
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha,

I just confirmed with Brendan and he said he has made the changes and we are good to go on our end.

Thank you,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Checking back with you on this.  Have these changes been made to your form?
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Chris,
Yes, you can still make cosmetic changes to the Cvent page once it is live.  But you cannot change pricing or items on the registration form.  Please change the layout of the FAQ page.  It is difficult to interpret and the wording does not line up.  Maybe put the answer under the question.
Also, please add a registration button to the header in the top right.
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha,

I just clicked the ready to launch button. Once the event is launched, can we still make edits within CVENT? We still have to add the ticket link and make a few other minor changes.

Thank you,

Chris

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!
