Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[NOV-20-19  4:03 PM  Anonymous] I don't recall the quickest way to share the materials with you.  They are at this link:  https://con-main-a2.sites.medinfo.ufl.edu/?wysija-page=1&controller=email&action=view&email_id=366&wysijap=subscriptions. Please advise.

Also, I'm out of the office 11/21-11/25, all communications and approvals should go to Anna Hoffman at asuggs@ufl.edu.

[NOV-25-19 12:18 PM  Tonya Gibbs] I see that changes are requested, but I don't see changes listed in the update.  Please let me know soon what the changes are, as our staff is limited due to the Holidays.  Thank you!

[NOV-25-19 12:22 PM  Anonymous] Dean's Message: Remove the two semi-colons (;) after both instances of "It's a great time to be a Gator!"

Welcome New Faculty: Link in the title goes to the wrong hyperlink. The photo is not hyperlinked. Should go to https://gatornurse.nursing.ufl.edu/2019/11/15/welcome-new-faculty-3/
Also, please change "summer" to "fall" in second line.

Nursing Theorist and Living Legend: Has the wrong body copy. Should be: "For years, nurses have been studying Jean Watson’s Theory of Human Caring, pouring over her theory to learn how to keep caring as the essence of nursing. During the first week of the fall semester, the College of Nursing hosted Watson as part of the BSN Convocation. Throughout different opportunities during her visit, students and faculty were able to discuss theories with Watson and pose for photos with this living legend."

Faculty and student accomplishments: Hyperlink in title goes to the wrong link. Just remove that link and keep the ones below. Remove "participating in charitable causes, attending leadership conventions" and replace it with "receiving prestigious scholarships and funding," Also please replace "spring" on the last line with "fall."

Alumni Reunion: No link on the image

Alumni Updates: Link on heading goes to the wrong page. Should go here: https://gatornurse.nursing.ufl.edu/2019/11/18/alumni-updates-5/

[NOV-25-19  2:40 PM  Anonymous] Faculty and Student Accomplishments: The photo links to the wrong page. It would be fine to just not hyperlink the photo at all.

[DEC-03-19  9:12 AM  Anonymous] Yancy: Checking in to be sure this will go out tomorrow?  Thanks.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
