Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[JUL-15-20  9:00 AM  Anonymous] Yancy: Per our communications dept., we need to delay the date this goes out until sometime in the range of Aug. 3 - Aug. 5. Materials should be available for me to submit here by  July 20. Thank you.

[JUL-15-20  9:14 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Dates have been adjusted as requested.  Let me know if you need anything else.  ~ Tonya

[JUL-15-20  9:30 AM  Jason Phenicie] New file added

[JUL-27-20  8:46 AM  Tonya Gibbs] The Gator Nurse Content was sent via email: https://con-main-a2.sites.medinfo.ufl.edu/?wysija-page=1&controller=email&action=view&email_id=520&wysijap=subscriptions

[AUG-04-20  3:14 PM  Anonymous] Yancy: I've learned from Communications that something on the last proof had reverted to the original submitted content, versus the latest version. She is marking it up to get back with me.  Also, we are awaiting approval from the dean on the cover. I will be in touch as soon as these things come through, which I anticipate being sometime tomorrow. Thank you.

[AUG-04-20  3:15 PM  Anonymous] DNP program: Content was changed from original submission. Preview text should read: The UF College of Nursing’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program remained the top-ranked DNP program in Florida and among the top 20 of public universities, according to the 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate School rankings. The College of Nursing is ranked No. 28 among all nursing programs with numerous increased scores across categories in the ranking methodology.

Same for "Alumni Council honors BSN spring graduates": Text preview should read: As a special way to honor spring BSN graduates during their virtual pinning celebration, members of the UF College of Nursing Alumni Council submitted photos of themselves wearing their own pins from when they graduated. Alumni Council members also shared special messages congratulating graduates or imparted a favorite memory from their own pinning ceremonies. These photos and messages were then shared on Facebook as a countdown to the launch of the virtual celebration. This celebration was a uniquely successful way for the Alumni Council to honor Gator Nursing graduates at a time when they needed it the most.

[AUG-04-20  3:15 PM  Tonya Gibbs] Thanks for the update.

[AUG-04-20  3:16 PM  Jason Phenicie] New file added

[AUG-10-20 12:18 PM  Tonya Gibbs] New Header image added as requested.

[AUG-10-20  3:29 PM  Anonymous] Cover was updated per request, but looks like link reverted to spring 2020 e-blast link. Please update link to: https://gatornurse.nursing.ufl.edu/2020/07/11/year-of-the-nurse-and-midwife-holds-deeper-meaning-as-gator-nurses-battle-covid-19-on-the-frontlines/

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
