[JAN-29-19  8:43 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Did you want to include an exclusion data list for this mailing since it is the third time you have mailed to this group?  Also, are you keeping the same group of sponsors from mailing 2, and since this is the third mailing, can we abbreviate any of the content, driving them to the website for more information?

[JAN-29-19  8:57 AM  Anonymous] Yancy: I am happy to send an exclusion list (I'm not the one keeping the list, but should be able to obtain it). the sponsors from mailing 2 should also be on this mailing ... but, we need to recognize the biggest sponsors (Bill & Patti Alcorn), who were previously not included (by us) ... I am asking Anna Hoffman about abbreviating content/driving to web.

Specific changes I'm aware of from Anna:

->  For the additional Alcorn sponsorship ... “Founding sponsors: Bill and Patti Alcorn”

->  For the additional info on continuing ed ... I’d like “Continuing Education credits available for nurses*” in a starburst or blue circle (like the ones already on there) somewhere near the top. Maybe it can even go in the same one as the registration. The asterisk will need to be continued somewhere near the bottom with:

* This continuing nursing education activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

[JAN-30-19  8:45 AM  Anonymous] Yancy:  We think this looks good. But, have now received one addition at the bottom of the interactive workshop sessions (under Patricia Dykes at the very bottom). “Mari Tietze, PhD, RN-BC, FHIMSS” should be orange and the rest black:

Mari Tietze, PhD, RN-BC, FHIMSS, Texas Woman’s University, Statewide Study to Assess Nurses’ Experiences Using their Electronic Health Records: An Update

Thank you!

[JAN-30-19  3:13 PM  Anonymous] Yancy:  Oops this is our fault. There should be a colon instead of a comma after “Texas Woman’s University” (the one you guys just added at the bottom). Sorry about that. Then it’s ready, I promise!

Is it possible for this to go out this week?

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
