[SEP-29-20  3:32 PM  Tonya Gibbs] Hi Lillian,  Sorry I never saw the updates since the status wasn't changed from with Collaborator to In Queue.  Please see the updated link.   Next time, I think you have to press the "Changes Requested" link before adding the new content, in order for me to see the change request status.  Sorry for the oversight.

[SEP-29-20  4:03 PM  Anonymous] Thanks so much, Tonya. Likely a user error on my end! Where would I find the updated link?

[SEP-30-20  1:25 PM  Tonya Gibbs] The link has been updated.

[SEP-30-20  6:25 PM  Anonymous] Hi Tonya,
I looked at the updated link and it doesn't have the updated body file "Fall Unit Mailing 2020 Gator Band DRAFT" language in it - perhaps I'm clicking the wrong link? Sorry to keep going back on this, but I don't see the draft I uploaded on 9/23. Thanks!

[OCT-01-20 12:14 AM  Tonya Gibbs] I'm not sure what is going on, here is the proof:

[OCT-01-20  1:07 PM  Tonya Gibbs] I think I caught all those spacing issues.  Let me know.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
