[DEC-04-20  9:13 PM  Anonymous] Event Details: University of Florida alumnae and nationally acclaimed political analyst Kristen Soltis Anderson joins the Gator Club® of Miami to talk about the 2020 U.S. Election. She'll dive into the data that explains how the election happened the way it did and what long-term trends and takeaways may lie in the data as it relates to future races at the Congressional and Presidential level. Kristen will also reflect on her time as a Gator, what makes the University of Florida so special from an academic and athletic perspective and why she'll always bleed orange and blue.

Final Section/Invitation Close: We'd also invite anyone interested to reach out to Club President Neil W. Blackmon (nwblackmon@gmail.com) should they have an interest in getting more involved with the Gator Club® of Miami in 2021. Finally, we hope to see all of you for Gator Giving Day on February 18, 2020. Stay tuned to Gator Club® of Miami social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for updates.

[DEC-07-20  3:47 PM  Anonymous] Good Afternoon team! thank you for putting this together so quickly, and after getting a sneak peak of the header image in the file attachments, could I request (2) edits? First, the Club name is the "Gator Club(r) of Miami" not Miami Gator Club. And last, could a generic "Coffee" header picture be used instead of the vote buttons? The name of the event is "Coffee with the Gators" and I think it might be more appealing, just in my opinion
Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else, and THANK YOU for your help!

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
