[MAY-17-17  9:03 AM  Anonymous] Date of event is September 14, 2017

Please RSVP to Christina Villamil at cvillamil@uff.ufl.edu
786-482-6351

consider verbiage here: taking great students and help them achieve greater

--- should it not be taking great students and helping them achieve greater?

Do we have a more updated image we can use for the header? Maybe our Coral Gables office picture? Or a new campaign image?

Thank you Jason!

[MAY-17-17 10:17 AM  Anonymous] Looks awesome thank you!

One small edit---

Join Jeff Bast, Jose Cornide, Eric Elliott, Dana Grodin, Raul Mateu and Adam Mopsick for an evening with UF admissions to discuss the admissions process, answer your questions and begin guiding your future Gators.

[MAY-17-17 10:42 AM  Anonymous] Edit, please change to the following:

Join Jeff Bast, Jose Cornide, Eric Elliott, Dana Grodin, Raul Mateu and Adam Mopsick  for an evening with UF admissions to discuss the admissions process, answer your questions and begin guiding your future Gators

[MAY-23-17 11:40 AM  Anonymous] 1. We should have a recognizable UF building or logo as the picture and not the CG building as most will not recognize it.  Perhaps it should also be smaller. - do we have an updated graphic we use for student affairs?

2. The date is THURSDAY, September 14 not Saturday.

3.  The body of the invite should be along the following lines:

GATOR ALUMN, YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN OUR HOST COMMITTEE

Jeff Bast, Jose Cornide, Eric Elliott, Dana Grodin, Raul Mateu and Adam Mopsick

     for an evening with

(I am working on securing the names of who will be there, but please include Myra Morgan and VP Dr. David w. parrott)

Myra Morgan, Division of Student Affairs

to discuss the UF admissions process, answer your questions and begin guiding your future Gators.

4. We should put an end time 7 – 9 PM

5. IF you can capture the information through a link, it would be great if people go to a website and register for the event so that you can get their names, addresses, phone numbers, emails and perhaps even the names of their kids and when they are set to graduate from high school.  Some of this information may be helpful as you look to connect with these people.

[MAY-23-17  3:14 PM  Jason Phenicie] Hi Christina,

Thanks for sending these along.

Do you have a specific building in mind? The graphics we’ve been using for Student Affairs are geared more toward MFOS and the image with Century Tower was rejected.

Here are the Student Affairs images we have used:
•    http://info.uff.ufl.edu/StudentAffairs/Parents/Events/Images/PFLC_Header.jpg
•    http://info.uff.ufl.edu/StudentAffairs/Challenge/images/mfos-challenge-update-header.jpg
•    http://info.uff.ufl.edu/StudentAffairs/Events/Images/mfos_header.jpg
•    http://info.uff.ufl.edu/StudentAffairs/Events/Images/20160922_MFOS/MFOSMiamiLeadership_Invite_R2-1_01.jpg

Some specific direction/preference with regard to the header image would be helpful.

Whoever is sending the email will be able to edit the body. Once we have the header and title formatted, they’ll be able to make any adjustments to that body text, provided they keep the same number of paragraphs.

For the RSVP form, the Advancement/Foundation solution for that is Cvent. Cvent is a Web-based, self-service event management solution. You’ll need to contact Martha Jakab (mjakab@uff.ufl.edu) about completing the training and getting an account set-up. Once you’ve completed that, you’ll be able to submit a request to launch an event in Cvent through our project management portal (http://www.uff.ufl.edu/commproject) and then you can build out your event in Cvent. It will provide you with a link that you will include in your email (or, once you have your event set up, we can paste this email into Cvent and you can have Cvent send the emails) where guests can register.

Once I have your suggestion for the header image, I’ll put together a new draft and send it along.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

[MAY-24-17  3:46 PM  Anonymous] Do we have any other century tower images other than the one we originally used?

The sender will be us so we can create the language of the body, the hosts just wanted us to differentiate that they are hosting and have a different tone.

I will connect with foundation on cvent.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!

Now we need to make you official before you share apps or manage your account.
