Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[FEB-28-24  9:07 AM  Monica Vosilla] Hi Aileen, thanks for submitting this with ample lead time. Is content coming from your team or do you need support from Matt Coleman's group? I ask based on different process flows for planning. -Monica

[FEB-28-24  9:09 AM  Anonymous] We will submit content that we have worked on as well as content from the MFOS office. We are working to get that to you ASAP, but at least two weeks prior to the drop date. Thank you!

[FEB-29-24 11:01 AM  Monica Vosilla] Hi Aileen, thanks for the update and timeline. That works as we'll need to route that through the content group for editing/proofreading. If we need to host the content on the Advancement site again, we'll also need to note that ASAP. Thanks, Monica

[FEB-29-24 11:13 AM  Anonymous] Yes, the newsletter content will need to be hosted on the Advancement site. Thank you!

[MAR-05-24  8:53 AM  Anonymous] Elle Edits - Sisterhood Article and MFOS Office Buzz Program Updates Q1 2024 was shared by the MFOS Program office. I am not sure if they have photos to share but I have inquired and will let you know if they have any.

Phuong Nguyen has given us permission to share her Vending machine and other 5 year musings end of you message as an alumni spotlight. There is a photo of her as a child in the email. Please let me know if this formatting causes any issues.

Our other thought was to repurpose the biography and have something written about the 40 under 40 program. Kevin Ally is an MFOS Honoree being recognized this year. Is this something that you already have access to that can be repurposed?

Thank you, Aileen Dixon

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
