Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[APR-02-24 11:22 AM  Anonymous] Request for Facebook event creation and boost - who is the appropriate contact?

[APR-02-24 12:29 PM  Monica Vosilla] Hi Alexa, Monica Vosilla is your contact for social at the moment.

[APR-04-24  1:39 PM  Tonya Gibbs] What is the title of this talk?

[APR-04-24  2:05 PM  Jason Phenicie] New file added

[APR-04-24  2:05 PM  Tonya Gibbs] Alexa, please approve the header. Didn't have much to go on.  Thanks, T

[APR-04-24  2:19 PM  Anonymous] Thank you Tonya, this looks great so far and for the header, could you add the UFAA Gator Nation logo, preferably first before the Department of Economics logo? Both logos could appear at the top of the header, or however you prefer as the expert here! I wanted to check in case the UFAA logo was already in the e-mail, perhaps before the header but we'd like the UFAA logo first, if possible.
I've also asked for the event title (4) times without success, and I just asked again. If we don't get one by tomorrow we might have to leave blank but of course I would like to provide for increased engagement/interest.
Thank you for your help!

[APR-04-24  4:11 PM  Anonymous] Good news, Dr. Rush just let me know that he is working with Dr. Knight on the title, which I requested ASAP

[APR-08-24  3:17 PM  Blake Loiacono] We adjusted Dr. Knights bio based on length - both links taken out went out to CVs.

[APR-08-24  4:29 PM  Anonymous] Thank you and sounds great - appreciate those edits. Still waiting on the official title - they are having internal department conversations and know that they need to let us/me know ASAP

[APR-08-24  6:38 PM  Anonymous] I received an update from Steve Evans, AVP, that the topic would be modified and announced tomorrow (4/9) afternoon after internal meetings at CLAS. In that case we will unfortunately need to shift the send date back a day to Wednesday, 4/10, if possible for your team. I apologize for the delay, and I had hoped this would have all been confirmed sooner - wanted to update you with the latest.

[APR-09-24  1:47 PM  Jason Phenicie] New file added

[APR-09-24  6:09 PM  Anonymous] Steve Evans called and CLAS has a new presentation title related to anti-trust and big tech, and the formal title is expected from the speaker tonight. I am still in the office and will send as soon as received - thank you for your patience and for your help turning around to send quickly.

[APR-10-24  2:03 PM  Anonymous] This just in! Presentation title: “The New Age of Antitrust Enforcement: Big Tech”

Thanks for your patience, I was e-mailing and calling trying to get this ASAP after being told we would have it last night.

[APR-10-24  3:31 PM  Jason Phenicie] New file added

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
