[DEC-05-17  9:01 AM  Anonymous] Hi Jason,

This is what we have so far. We are still waiting on Tom's Message and the LEAD Graduation Pic (The caption will change when we see the final order of the grads).

Thanks, Jessica.

[DEC-08-17  8:13 AM  Anonymous] Hi Jason,

We will be adding photos from the Holiday Luncheon and a small message under Tom's message.

Thanks

[DEC-11-17  9:11 AM  Anonymous] Hi Jason,

Here are the changes that need to be made.

Diversity Spotlight: Microaggressions - The paragraph should read
"Microaggressions are brief, everyday exchanges that send denigrating messages to certain individuals of any marginalized group. Because they happen every day, most of us do not realize that we are participating in them when we are trying for a well-intentioned comment. Unfortunately, these comments and actions can make good employees head for the exits. Check out this article from Fast Company to learn more about microaggressions in the work place and how to handle them."

"This article" should be hyperlinked with the following - https://www.fastcompany.com/3068670/how-to-shut-down-microagressions-at-work

Jan. 16, myUFL Site Update
Our original hyperlink had a typo. The correct hyperlink is https://tinyurl.com/yde6gdmj

The quote at the end of the newsletter should be -  "If you're phony, they will feel it in the farthest row of the arena. You have to really care. And you have to make yourself care, time and time again." – Tom Petty

Thanks

[DEC-11-17  1:10 PM  Jason Phenicie] Hi Jessica,

I see that you've requested changes, but nothing is logged. What changes need to be made to this version?

Thank you,
Jason

Hi Jessica,

Just a couple of edits:
•    Instead of using “B,” let’s spell out billion in - $3 billion Go Greater campaign
•    Remove the comma after extra efforts (first sentence – last paragraph)
Once you’ve made these changes let me take one last look and we should be good to go.

[DEC-13-17  8:25 AM  Anonymous] Hi Jason,

We have a few last minute edits.

PMRA Section -
Change time to 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Change the 3rd sentence to "January's topic is Advance: we'll focus on how to make it work for you, with lots of tips and tricks to help you get most out of our database."

Diversity Network Group Update -
Add an exclamation point to the end of the first sentence.
Combine the first 2 paragraphs.
Change time to 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and add "in the Warrington Conference Room".
Remove "that" after social attitudes

Security Awarness Program-
Change the heading to "Dec. 31, Security Awarness Program
Bold the date in the body of the blurb.

FY 19 Planning -
Take out the time in the heading.
Bold the date and time in the body and change the time to 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM.

All Staff -
Take the time out of the heading.
Change body to "The January All Staff Meeting will be held on January 29 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the President's Ballroom." The date and time should be bold.

Performance Apppraisals -
Change "Mid-Year" to "Semi-Annual" in heading

Thanks for all you help.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
