Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[NOV-28-17  1:27 PM  Jason Phenicie] Please provide all materials for this email by close of business on Wednesday, November 29. If we have not received materials by this time, we will need to cancel the job and you will need to resubmit with a new send date. Thank you.

[NOV-28-17  4:48 PM  Anonymous] We want it to look exactly like last year's email, which I have attached an image. The project number was Project #1171. It needs to have the picture of Ed Stone across the top like this image.

[NOV-28-17  4:49 PM  Anonymous] Also, can the first one's email title be: Save the Date: Edward D. Stone, Jr. Lecture Series

[DEC-01-17  9:17 AM  Anonymous] I received two emails for this. One link had "Save the Date!" in the body of the email and one did not. We want to make sure it says "Save the Date!" above the featured speaker's name. Thank you.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
