[JAN-10-18  9:01 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Materials needed reminder send on 1/10/2018.

[JAN-16-18  1:54 PM  Tonya Gibbs] We have made several attempts to get your materials for this job request without success. As of today it we will not be able to meet your requested mail deadline of Jan. 19.  Can you provide us with a status update?

[JAN-16-18 10:02 PM  Anonymous] I apologize for the lack of communication on our end. Unfortunately, at this time we are out of a graphic designer and will have to resubmit to send at a later day as we still do not have content

[JAN-17-18  7:49 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Thank you for letting me know the status.  We will put the project on hold. Please reach out to Jason and I and let us know when you are ready to reopen this project.  This will keep you from having to re-create a new one.  We will need to know the new mailing dates when you are ready to move forward with the work order.

[MAR-06-18  8:27 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Hi Jill I wanted to circle back to this project and find out if you had a date yet?  Should we cancel this task, or keep it on hold?

[MAR-06-18  8:45 AM  Anonymous] We will be hosting it the same weekend as homecoming. I will have updates for you soon

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
