[DEC-19-17  3:41 PM  Jason Phenicie] Hi Joey - This email did not clear our AVP approval. In order to get approval, the email needs a visible reference to the college and the university. The elements in the graphic are too small and become illegible on mobile devices. Please update the ticket with new materials when you have them. Thank you.

[DEC-19-17  4:13 PM  Anonymous] We can do that. Our graphics designer has requested the specific image size you require for mobile devices.

[DEC-20-17  8:25 AM  Tonya Gibbs] We use a 600px image for our Email bases, and it is responsive to multiple smaller platforms with the smallest being 300px.   As the graphic is drawn it is difficult to read at 600px.

[JAN-02-18  9:22 AM  Anonymous] I have uploaded an updated version of the invite. Please let me know if this will work. Thank you.

[JAN-03-18  5:25 PM  Tonya Gibbs] Hi Joey/Jason/Luke -  I still feel that the text in the graphic is too small to read, especially in mobile. The RSVP line (which is the call to action) is barely visible at 600px.  I cannot read it at all when the image is reduced to 320px for standard mobile devices.  Adding the black box behind the logo at the top does make it pop. However, the black color choice in the design is not a branded UF color.  ~ Tonya

[JAN-05-18  9:21 AM  Anonymous] Tonya,

This is Brent, the designer of the invite. We had to get this invitation approved by the speaker before they would set a date for the talk. Making color and layout changes at this point would waste a lot of time since the event is in less than a month. Can we use the image as is and add a text version below, like in the email you sent Joey?

[JAN-05-18  9:52 AM  Anonymous] Joey Mazzaferro: Please hyperlink the graphic to this email address: mjphillips@dcp.ufl.edu
Also, in the text below the graphic, please add a comma after "Design" in our college's name.
Please delete commas after the times 6-7 P.M. and 7-8:30 P.M.

[JAN-05-18 10:46 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Graphic was already linked to the Email address. Other updates were made.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
