[MAR-06-18  8:27 AM  Tonya Gibbs] This has been with Collaborator since 2/21.  Do you guys have any updates?

[MAR-06-18 10:57 AM  Anonymous] SF: Sorry. I posted an update in the project update form. The club has cancelled this event.

[MAR-06-18 11:36 AM  Anonymous] SF: Team, my sincere apologies. The club is cancelling the VENUE, not the event. They are working on confirming a new location, that will change the copy on this request and that is what we're waiting on. I appreciate your patience as mine wears thinner... :)

[MAR-07-18  8:18 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Thanks for the feedback, at least we know what the hold up is.

[MAR-14-18 12:58 PM  Anonymous] Thanks for your patience. We are re-scheduling the event for late April or May. Should we need to cancel and re-submit or edit once we have a new date? Thank you.

[MAR-15-18  9:16 AM  Tonya Gibbs] I will place this event on hold, please let me know when you want it to be reactivated and I will assign it new dates.  Thanks for the update.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
