[JUL-12-18  9:18 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Can you provide a link to the PDF?  Thanks, T

[JUL-12-18  9:21 AM  Anonymous] I popped in here yesterday to upload the article but couldn't likely because you were working on it. We actually need the PDF to be housed somewhere where folks can click in. Chris helped us with this once for Gator100. We unfortunately do not have a way to put this up on our website...Lync me with questions. Thanks - Lindsey

[JUL-17-18  7:58 AM  Anonymous] Please put a space after the comma between you, too (looks like it is missing one) and also please edit Matt's signature block to read:

Matthew M. Hodge, Ph.D.
Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations &
Executive Director, UF Alumni Association

[JUL-18-18  3:36 PM  Anonymous] A few small tweaks after meeting with Matt:

Change second paragraph to: Feel proud of this accomplishment and know that UF’s 425,000+ alumni will be celebrating you, too.

Omit Matt's e-Signature image

Re-edit signature block to the below:
Matt Hodge (’94)
Associate Vice President, Alumni Relations
University of Florida

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
