Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[APR-18-19  3:55 PM  Anonymous] We won't have it done by today. We understand if you have to push our mailing back to later than 4/30. Thank you for your understanding.

[APR-22-19  8:34 AM  Anonymous] https://dcp.ufl.edu/april2019/

[APR-29-19  9:46 AM  Anonymous] The header is the old one. It should be the one that says Shaping the World We Live In. It was previously used in February. We missed that the old one was used in March.

DCP Events should be its own section with the "For More Information on Events" line at the bottom of that section.

The Social Media posts section should be its own section, following the events section.

The Jobs section has changed. The first graphic should now say "HOW TO GET INVOLVED." It should link to https://dcp.ufl.edu/alumni/dcp-engagement-program/

The second graphic should now say "POST/FIND A JOB." It should link to https://dcp.ufl.edu/jobs/

At the end where the staff is listed, the right hand side where me, Brent and Julie are listed should be unbolded. Also, it should say, in bold, above our names, April 2019.

If you need visual examples of what I've asked to be corrected, it was all in the link we previously sent. Thank you.

[APR-30-19  1:51 PM  Tonya Gibbs] Sorry for the oversight , we have a new student and I was out of the office.  This file should have everything updated, not sure what happened during the proofing stage, I will talk with Caroline.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
