Updates

The project update log is shown below.

⚠️ Your request is in the final stages and is locked for comments and file uploads. If you need urgent assistance please email both Jason Phenicie (jphenicie@uff.ufl.edu) and Monica Vosilla (mvosilla@uff.ufl.edu)

[MAY-03-19  3:55 PM  Anonymous] Scott has not heard from the club on location or RSVP link. I have copy formatted. Is the preference to upload the copy with missing information, or just wait until we have it all? We understand send date will be delayed.

[MAY-21-19  8:17 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Following up to see if you have an update from the club?

[MAY-21-19  8:26 AM  Anonymous] Thanks for checking. No updates yet and Scott is out this week. Hopefully next week.

[JUN-10-19 11:31 AM  Anonymous] It should read "Broward County Gator Club" in the first line. Thanks!

[JUN-10-19  4:06 PM  Anonymous] One more small edit: we need the program start time to read 6:15pm. Thanks!

[JUN-12-19  4:08 PM  Anonymous] The above change requesting the first line change to "Broward County Gator Club" (it currently reads Broward Gator Club) is not reflected in this proof. Thanks!

[JUN-13-19  8:42 AM  Tonya Gibbs] Sorry sent the wrong proof link.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
