Good morning Patrick,

I have added the photo to the fund page for 022869 (https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/022869-dr-james-mcguigan-lectureship-in-gastroenterology-hepatology-nutrition/).

The set-up does not allow for a photo on the link you requested, which is the default giving page with that fund selected.

However, if you have the content and desire, you can enhance the fund page with additional content. See https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/019659-barbaras-dream-fund-for-frontotemporal-dementia-research-and-education/ for example. You can also shortcut any fund by using www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/[fund #], so for this one you can do www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/022869

Please let me know your thoughts. I'll leave this ticket open until close of business Friday, August 10.

Have a good day,
Jason

Jason,

Thank you.  The revised giving page looks good.  If possible, can you provide a shortcut that is shorter in length, but has "James McGuigan Lectureship"?  The new shortcut is rather long.

Thank you,

Patrick

Good afternoon Patrick,

My apologies for this slipping - I wanted to follow up and see if you still needed a vanity URL for the fund: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/022869-dr-james-mcguigan-lectureship-in-gastroenterology-hepatology-nutrition/

If so, I just need to know the vanity name (what would come after www.uff.ufl.edu/give/) and an appeal code.

If not, I'll close this out.

Please let me know if you have any quesitons or concerns.

Have a good evening,
Jason

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
