Good morning Claire,

We have these built out in pre-production at:
https://www.uff.ufl.edu/pre-production/recognition/uf-loyal/
and
https://www.uff.ufl.edu/pre-production/recognition/uf-loyal/faq/

Please review and let me know if you have any changes.

UF Loyal website changes:

Under your gift matters at the top of the page, would like UF Loyal sizing to be consistent with the President’s Council sizing

Sarah is comfortable sticking with this header style. But In the headers on both UF Loyal pages, would like logo sizing inside the header to be consistent with the sizing on the President’s Council header

Can we make the header smaller on both UF Loyal pages and the President’s Council page or is this the standard header size?

Feel free to give me a call about this one: After seeing the layout, we would like the articles on separate pages (wanting the page to be more visually interesting – would it be possible to have two callouts like the photo and read more for Giving Day on this page (On Giving Day, Gators Roared https://www.uff.ufl.edu/your-impact/ and then have the stories laid out like this on two separate pages: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/your-impact/giving-day-gators-roared/. The callout for Dr. Irvin could say I’m just a Grateful Gator. The callout for Darcie MacMahon could say Expanding knowledge and making a difference.

On the FAQ page:

Under How do I become a UF Loyal donor question, need a space between the two paragraphs consistent with the first question.

Good morning Claire,

These changes are complete. Please review and let me know if I've missed anything.

Thanks,
Jason

Hey Jason,

A few more changes.

Changes to UF Loyal Main Page:

Can we add back the left side menu? If not, I need to know so we can add text to drive to the Loyal FAQ

We need to add back the donor’s names as they are missing from this page and the articles. Let’s change the article titles above the read more to:

Dr. John Dawson Irvin – I’m Just a Grateful Gator

Darcie MacMahon – Expanding Knowledge and Making a Difference

Want to ensure these titles transfer over to the article pages as well as above the read more on the main page.

On the article pages:

Is it possible to have a caption under their photos? If so, please add these back. If not, no big deal.

Dr. John Dawson Irvin, M.D., of Mountain View, Arkansas, wears Gator clothes in Razorback country. His patients recently thanked him by having his old Jeep painted in Gator glory.

Darcie MacMahon, of Gainesville, Florida, inside the Florida Museum of Natural History.

On the FAQ page:

Can we hyperlink the email UFLoyal@uff.ufl.edu?

Hi Claire,

I've made all of the changes except for the captions. The page template doesn't have the capability to add captions below the "hero" image.

Let me know if there are additional changes or if we're good to go. Once these are approved, I'll need a couple of hours to move them into production.

Thanks,

Jason

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!

Now we need to make you official before you share apps or manage your account.

Verifying your email lets you share Quickbase with others in your company.
