Updated and Final Art Print

-- [JUL-22-19 Jason Phenicie] --------------

Hi Claire,

I have the form, downloads, and both landing pages ready.

Here is the link for the mail piece page: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/c/uf-loyal-2019/

Here is the link for the email piece page: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/c/uf-loyal-2019-download/

Once these are ready to go, I'll wipe the counts and data.

I do have some questions about the information collection. Where should the data be sent? How frequently? I can schedule the data to go daily or weekly or I can have it sent with each submission. Let me know what's preferred.

Thanks,
Jason

Thoughts on loyal pages:

  •  Please remove 2019 from the header for both pages, we’ll continue to use this beyond this year.

-          I think we should also remove the year from the email URLs if possible.

-          Also remove 2019 from download link box

-          Diana’s bio on both pages has a typo: grad year is showing BA ’79

-          Can we change the direct download button on both pages to just say download? Since it really isn’t a direct as it takes you to the Box link and then you have to push download again.

-          On the mailed version, is there any concern about potential donors who don’t have an email address not being able to download the file? If they typed in, no email and hit submit would that work? Just curious

-          Do we need to include some type of verbiage about privacy since we’re requesting their email address – like we will not sell your email, etc. and maybe include a way to opt-out of receiving emails? I would assume that UF Advancement or Annual Giving has something already drafted for this purpose?

  • for the reports, if you could send to me weekly that would be perfect!

Good afternoon Claire,

I've made the requested changes to the pages. Here are the new URLs:

We made a small change to the form to maintain our compliance with Canada and GDPR. You'll see the opt-in checkbox reflected on the form. I'll get the report set up for weekly release once the form is live.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Claire,

I've removed the 2019 from both pages.

Thanks,
Jason

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.

We're glad you're interested in doing more with Quickbase!

Now we need to make you official before you share apps or manage your account.
