Update content (text, photo, etc.)Proposed

Please see below the requested updates for the current Gator Family Giving Council (GFGC) website to reflect our new branding and current priorities.

1. Branding Updates

  • Update all pages of the website to reflect the new Gator Family Giving Council branding.

2. Navigation & Page Elements

  • Update the “Contact Us” tab to be labeled “Learn More About GFGC” and ensure it appears on all pages of the website.

  • Add a “Give Now” button to all pages.

    • Style the button to closely resemble the “Make a Gift Today” button used on the Gator Parent & Family Association website.

3. Form Enhancements

  • On the updated “Learn More About GFGC” page (formerly “Contact Us”), please add a new question to the form to capture the respondent’s giving affinity (e.g., area of interest or philanthropic priority).

4. Personnel Updates

  • Update Tara’s photo across all relevant pages. (Attached photo provided)

  • Update the Council Chairs to reflect Cathy and Tom Rily as current chairs. (Attached photo provided)

5. Upcoming Events

Please add the following events to the “Upcoming Events” tab:

  • Family Preview – We will be hosting a Family Lounge during this event and would like it highlighted.

  • Gator Nation Bound Events – Details are being finalized; we will provide final event information shortly.

  • Fall Council Meeting – Scheduled for October 2–4. Please list as “Details TBD.”

6. Welcome Message From Council Chair

  • We will be providing an updated welcome message in the coming weeks.

7. Data Analytics

  • We are interested in knowing if it’s possible to track data analytics on the website, including user engagement, page traffic, and conversion metrics. Please advise on available options for this.

8. Next Steps

I would love to schedule a time to walk through each page together and discuss layout, content, and structure to ensure alignment with our vision for the refreshed site.

Items in the new table are called:

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
