Project Description

Hello,

I was looking at the Giving Opportunities website (https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/) and noticed that there’s no link to the Hamilton Center giving pages listed under either Colleges/Health or Centers/Units. We have two funds established that donors can contribute to online:

Hamilton Center General Fund: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/027691-hamilton-center-general-fund/?utm_source=hccce&utm_medium=wsl

Hamilton Center Research Fund: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/027693-hamilton-center-research-fund/

However, it appears there’s no way to navigate to these funds from the main Giving Opportunities web page. Can a link be included to direct navigation from the main Giving Opportunities page to our specific funds?

Also, we just added a new restricted fund to our giving opportunities, and I want to make sure it’s listed and available for online contributions as well. In fact, I have a donor who wants to contribute to it now. Can we have new fund link created for this new program? I would also like to add text / descriptions to our Research Fund giving page and the new Robert M. Beren Program in Jewish Classical Education Fund (F028945).

Please advise at your earliest convenience?  The new fund info is here:

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
