Good afternoon Martha,

We’re getting close to finalizing the Fall 2025 Gator Family Giving Council Cvent page, and I wanted to connect as we wrap up the details. A few small updates are still in motion, one of our presenters has recently accepted a new position at UF, and we’re waiting on confirmation for their replacement. We’re also holding off on including a set time for the elevated tailgate experience until the game time is announced.

I’d love your guidance on next steps from your team’s perspective. For example, we were leaning away from using On Arrival for check-in unless you feel it’s a quick and effective option to set up. Similarly, while Cvent mentioned a post-event survey, our plan is to use Qualtrics, though we’re open to your advice if the Cvent survey would be simpler to implement.

Our goal is to send the invitation to council members by next week so they’ll have time to review and RSVP. I’m still finalizing the guest list and can upload it shortly. Could you also confirm whether your team will send the final invitation, or if that will be our responsibility?

Thank you so much for your support and partnership on this—I really appreciate your guidance in helping us create a smooth and engaging experience for our families.

Best regards,
Aileen Dixon

Success for the Fall 2025 Gator Family Giving Council Meeting and Weekend will be measured by strong attendance and participation from current and prospective members, positive feedback through post-event surveys, and demonstrated philanthropic impact through new or increased giving. We will also evaluate the strength of relationship-building—both among council families and with campus partners—and track continued engagement through follow-up meetings, future event involvement, and council growth. Overall, success will reflect meaningful connections, inspired giving, and a deeper sense of investment in the Gator student experience.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
