For the Giving Page website for F029331 Molecular Genetics and Microbiology - Missions Support Fund, please add the following description about the fund:

In the ever-evolving world of science, discoveries that once seemed unimaginable are now within reach. Driving these breakthroughs are passionate researchers pushing the boundaries of knowledge, and dedicated educators preparing the next generation of scientists.

At the forefront of this pursuit is the University of Florida’s Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, a hub of innovation, discovery, and academic excellence. Here, faculty members lead cutting-edge research spanning mammalian genetics, virology, bacteriology, and beyond, all rooted in the powerful disciplines of molecular biology, molecular genetics, and gene therapy. Equally committed to education, the Department plays a vital role in training and mentoring future scientists, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to lead in an increasingly complex scientific landscape.

This fund supports the Department’s groundbreaking research and educational initiatives, helping advance scientific knowledge while training future leaders in the field. It also provides critical support for the Department’s ongoing operations and strategic priorities.

no Completed 09-17-2024 Update UFF Fund Page

https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/023155-uf-psychiatry-florida-recovery-center/

Your gift now to the Florida Recovery Center will support our future patients who will benefit from a more comfortable living area and state-of-the-art therapy spaces. The need for new and upgraded facilities is overdue, but we can only provide them with your help!

A highlight of the project are the two new residential buildings with 138 beds, which will expand our care to more patients struggling with addiction. New amenities will compliment a healthy recovery including a pool, gym, outdoor recreation area and pickleball court. Gifts will also fund renovations to an existing 18,700-square-foot administrative building for patient services like addiction evaluations, group and individual therapy, lectures and outpatient care. In addition, the centrally located commons building will serve as a hub of all activity including intake of new patients, laundry, and shared lounge space.

With your help, the quality of our services as a top ranking addiction treatment center – #1 in Florida and #5 nationwide according to Newsweek – will match the quality of our physical spaces. Construction should be completed by fall of 2025.

Please contact Callie Wilkes at calliewilkes@ufl.edu to discuss your chartable gift and naming opportunities at FRC.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
