no SCM Completed   Add F028903 to giving website

Website project - please see attached website request(s)

Hi, we opened up a new fund in CLAS right before the holiday break. We'd like to have it up on the Advancement website in preparation for Giving Day since it's going to be one of our featured funds. Would you be able to help us with that?

F028903 - SPOHP Fund for Collection Support

Purpose: Support the processing and maintenance of SPOHP materials

Thank you,

Emily

Website project - please see attached websihttps://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/014795-mildred-mason-griffith-botany-endowment/te request(s)

Please remove the sentence: "She was married to Jay of Whitefish, MT and they had one daughter, Nina Christeen". It is not accurate based off Dr. Griffith’s Obituary: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/gainesville/name/mildred-griffith-obituary?id=24113021

no Completed   Update giving page

Could you help us make a change to the giving page for the Trowbridge Fund? The donor passed away so we'd like to update the language.  https://www.uff.ufl.edu/giving-opportunities/013325-trowbridge-family-fund/ If this could be done quickly, we would really appreciate that since we will be meeting with this donor's sister in a few days.

Here is what we would like to have on the page:

In honor of his family, Mark A. Trowbridge established this fund in 2006 to support students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Trowbridge earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology in 1990 and a master’s degree in student personnel in higher education in 1992. He was president/CEO of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce for almost 19 years. His parents were Edgar W. and Mary L. Trowbridge; his sister, Tracy T. Newman, earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida in 1992. Mark passed away on February 21, 2025, in Miami Springs, Florida. His family and friends continue to honor his legacy and his generous spirit through the Trowbridge Family Fund.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
