no Completed 03-31-2020 IRS Tax Receipt Request Hey Katie – I am wondering if something might be possible for you all to do for Gifts & Records.  We receive requests for prior-year IRS tax receipts multiple times a day (even more this time of year), and we try to turn those around to donors on the same day or within 24-hours.  Right now there’s a delay because we have to print them prior to scanning, and we’re only going into the office two times a week.

I’ve attached the shell you all designed for us as well as a template of the data that gets typed onto the receipt.  I’m wondering if there could be a version of the shell that we could type on directly.  I tried to create one myself, but everything I did caused the orange “This is an official receipt for your. . . “ to move, and I decided to stop before I threw my computer out the window 😊.

FYI on the Albert Gator receipt, there could be multiple gifts listed if a donor gives to multiple funds.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quick Base often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quick Base finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quick Base needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
