Design due 12/5 Approvals due 12/6 email to digital team 12/7 Send out by 12/12/2017 Approved text: Season’s Greetings Board Members! As another year draws to a close, most of you will be in the midst of preparations for this festive season – taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday work to enjoy the company of family and friends. The year passes quickly, so please take a moment to reflect on these special moments throughout the coming weeks. Looking back on 2017, the University of Florida has had an exciting year, filled with groundbreaking accomplishments. • We were named a Top 10 public university by U.S. News and World Report. • We launched the $3 billion Go Greater campaign, with nearly half our goal raised to date. • We had our 6th consecutive record-breaking fundraising year thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends. Please know that these successes are due in large part to your dedication in supporting the university’s success, ensuring proper governance of the foundation and demonstrating unwavering pride in The Gator Nation®. On behalf of the University of Florida and UF Advancement, thank you for your continued support. We wish you Happy Holidays and hope the New Year brings health, happiness and prosperity to you and yours. We look forward to working with you in 2018 – see you in Orlando! Go Gators, TJM

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
